Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility

 

​You must be at the age of majority where you reside to use the App. By using Imprezzi, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.


2. Account Registration

 

  • You must create an account to use certain features of the App.

  • Provide accurate and complete information.

  • Protect your login credentials.

  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.

We may suspend or terminate accounts if false information is provided or Terms are violated.


3. User Types


Attendees:


Users who register and attend events. Attendees use the App for free.


Event Organizers:


Also known as Hosts, are users who create and manage events.

  • Free subscription organizers may only create a limited number of events per subscription period (default of 30 days.) 

  • Paid subscriptions increases the limit on the number of events an organizer can create. This also increases the limit of advanced event management tools usage.

  • Organizers must ensure that all events comply with applicable laws, respect attendees’ rights, and follow all Imprezzi rules, including scanning attendee reservation codes (QR code) for check-in.​


4. Social Score

  • Imprezzi includes a social scoring system based on user activity.

  • Users are responsible for complying with event rules to maintain or improve their score.

  • The methodology and calculations of the social score are confidential and proprietary. Users agree that this constitutes Imprezzi’s intellectual property and cannot be disclosed, copied, or reverse-engineered.

  • Social scores are for informational purposes within the App only and do not confer any rights or guarantees outside the App.


5. Event Management

  • Event Organizers are responsible for providing accurate event information and ensuring their events comply with applicable laws and respect attendees.

  • Organizers may use advanced features like attendee filtering and waiting list pooling in accordance with the App rules. This feature has a limited number of usage every subscription type and period.

  • Imprezzi may use information related to events to improve the App, analyze trends, or for communication purposes (marketing, announcements, or promotional content).

  • Users may interact through questions or comments related to events; respectful behavior is required. Harassment, offensive conduct, or discrimination may result in account suspension or termination.


6. User Content

  • Users may post information, images, reviews, questions, or ratings within the App (“Content”).

  • You grant Imprezzi a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your Content for App operations, improvement, or communication purposes.

  • You are responsible for Content you submit and agree not to post illegal, offensive, infringing, or harassing material.

  • Images posted in the App will be accessible to the public.


7. Notifications and Communications

  • Imprezzi may send notifications within the App and emails regarding updates, events, subscriptions, or promotional content.

  • By using the App, you consent to receive these communications.

  • You may manage notification settings through the App.


8. Subscriptions, Tickets and Payments


Subscriptions:

  • Certain features require payment via subscription.

  • Payments are processed through Stripe.

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date.

  • No refunds for unused portions unless required by law.

  • Imprezzi reserves the right to modify subscription plans, features, or pricing at any time with notice.


Event Tickets:

  • Organizers may choose to create a ticketed event

  • Ticket payments are processed through Stripe. Stripe charges a processing fee for each transaction. Please see Stripe fees for more details.

  • ​Disputes or refunds should be raised with the organizer or may be initiated through Stripe or your credit card provider.


9. Privacy

​

  • Your use of Imprezzi is governed by our Privacy Policy.

  • We collect, store, and use information as described in the Privacy Policy, in accordance with Canadian privacy laws (PIPEDA).

  • Users have the right to access, modify, or delete their data as described in the Privacy Policy.


10. Intellectual Property

​

  • All content, code, designs, logos, features, and social scoring algorithms of the App are owned by Imprezzi and protected by intellectual property laws.

  • Users may not copy, reproduce, modify, or exploit any part of the App without explicit permission.


11. Prohibited Conduct

Users may not:

​

  • Violate laws or regulations;

  • Interfere with App functionality or security;

  • Harass, impersonate, or harm others;

  • Manipulate the social scoring system dishonestly;

  • Reverse-engineer the App, social score, or misuse its features;

  • Post offensive, illegal, or infringing content;

  • Use the App for unauthorized commercial purposes.

Violation may result in account suspension or termination.


12. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

​

  • The App is provided “as is” and “as available.”

  • Imprezzi does not guarantee uninterrupted access, accuracy of event information, or the social score.

  • Imprezzi is not responsible for events, cancellations, disputes, or actions of other users.

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Imprezzi is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the App.


13. Termination

​

  • Imprezzi may suspend or terminate accounts or remove content at any time for violations of these Terms.

  • Termination does not affect accrued rights or obligations.


14. Force Majeure

 

Imprezzi is not responsible for delays, interruptions, or failures caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, cyberattacks, or technical failures.


15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

 

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of laws principles.

  • Users agree that disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.

  • Imprezzi may encourage mediation or arbitration prior to court proceedings, but this is not mandatory.


16. Changes to Terms

 

  • Imprezzi may update these Terms from time to time.

  • Users will be notified via the App or email.

  • Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
